A Deed of Sale from Preston Hampton to John Potter for 100 acres of Land Dated the 4th Day of June 1772 proved by Wm Capshaw Evidence thereto. Ord'd to be Reg'd.

A Deed of Sale from John McKinny to Peter Watkins Dated the 29th Day of July 1772 for 100 acres proved by Wm. Capshaw Evidence thereto. Ord'd to be Registered.

A Deed of Sale from James Capshaw to Richard Tubb for 70 acres of Land Dated the 3d Day of July 1774 proved in open Court by Essex Capshaw Evidence thereto. Ord'd to be Reg'd.

William Capshaw and James Lemar absenting themselves from their duty as Petit Jurors It was Ordered by the Court that they be find 5/ Each for their neglect. Fine remitted by the Court. July 1774

Ordered by the Court that Essix Capshaw be appointed Overseer of the Road leading rom Pullams mill to the province line in that part between said Mill and Broad River and that Jeremiah McDaniel serve as overseer from Broad River to the Charles Town Waggon Road.

Elizabeth Mayhue vs Wm. Jones. Trover & Conversion. Same Jury with the alteration of Richard Reynolds in the Room of Francis Gilmore Plaintiff failing to appear as Nonsuit.
Thos Jones vs William Cathey. Same Jury with the alteration of Francis Gilmore in the Room of Abel Beatey plff failing to appear was Nonsuit.

A Deed of Sale from James Capshaw to John Cummins for 40 acres of Land Dated the 5 Day of March 1774 proved by Essex Capshaw Evidence thereto. Ord'd to be Registered.

A Deed of Sale from Jno Stanford to Abrah'm Hargess for 200[?] acres of Land Dated the 25 Day of July 1774 proved by Wm Capshaw Evidence thereto. Ord'd to be Reg'd.

Peter Sides assee &c vs John Logan & Jas McAfee. Same Jury with the alteration of Essex Capshaw in the room of Aaron Moore, Thos Welch in the room of Francis Gilmore, and Saml Moore in the room of Samuel Moore. Impannelled and Sworn find for the plaintiff and assess his Damage to £8 8 8 and /6d cost. April 1775

Ordered by the Court that George Parish, Saml French, James Capshaw, Wm. Capshaw, Jas Upton, John McClure, James Miller, John Scott, Alex'r Coulter, John McLean, John McFaddon, & Joshua Taylor be appointed Jurors to lay out a Road from Uptons Mill to William Gilberts and that they be summoned by the Sheriff to be & appear before one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace to take the necessary steps to qualify them for this their charge.
Court adjourned till Court in Course. Joseph Hardin, William Graham, W. Gilbert, David Jenkins.
October term 1775

For Captain Nevils District Wm Nevil, John Scott and James Capshaw July 1777

Ord'd that George Paris be appointed assessor in Capt. Nevils District in the room of James Capshaw who has refused to Serve. January 1778

Ordered also that Wm. Nevil, John Earle, George Paris, Wm. Mills Ju'r, Wm. Capshaw, James Capshaw, Benj'n Jenkins, John McFadin, Alex'r Coulter, John Scott, Elias McFadin & Andrew Hampton be a Jury to try two disputed claims to land between the Honourable Saml Spencer Esq'r & Wm Gilbert & James Miler and two between James Miller and Nath'l McCarrol April 1778
